Delve into an otherworldly space adventure

Last in Orbit is an extraordinary space adventure game developed by Dapper Rabbit Games. In this first-person space game, you will play the character of a resident who will be sent to the operational Orbital Apartment Stations (OAS). It is apartment complexes constructed by humans to solve the problem of overpopulation on Earth. As it is the first test pilot, you are tasked to test facilities and make sure that everything in the OAS is working and running smoothly. However, you got locked out in your room as something went horribly wrong with AI and you must find your way out before it self-destructs.

Hearth-throbbing battle against time

You must quickly, wisely, and carefully discover the pathway outside as you are only given a specific timeframe to safely escape the OAS. You must also piece and solve difficult puzzles, unlock various rooms, and find the escape pod, which will lead you out of the complex’s post. However, there will be times when you will be caught and brought back to the locked room. If this happens, you will have return to the start and do everything again until you find the right place and item that will let you out of the apartment.

The Last Orbit offers a challenging game set in a futuristic setting. It has engaging music that is very reminiscent of the 1920s. On a different note, there are some areas in this game that are rather frustrating. Firstly, the game lacks settings options. The only options that the game provides are start, resume game, and exit. There is no option to customize the graphics or sound details to the way you want. Another thing, whenever you open the vents, you get randomly stuck in a black screen, which eventually forces you to exit.

But, despite its shortcomings, Last in Orbit is still one of the space adventure games that you shouldn’t miss, especially if you have enough time or patience to succeed in an indie game. Furthermore, it has simple game mechanics that beginners can easily adapt to. But, you shouldn’t be deceived by its accessible instructions as it provides heavily-tricky puzzles.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
